Waste Water Treatment - Alkota Ozonation Systems - Ozonation Garnet

Ozonation Garnet Series can be used as primary treatment to meet both reuse or discharge requirements in many applications. The Alkota Ozonation Garnet utilizes ozone to enhance the natural gravitation separation & oxidation of solids & oils.

The low maintenance design adds an affordable way of working with large quantities of water stagnated in storage. This pre-treatment system utilizes existing storage and process vessels for ease of service and maintenance.

The system includes a garnet filtration module that can circulate O3 back to the wash pad containment areas. The process will ease the solids load to the filtration process of the waste water system while keeping undesirable odors in check.

  • Heavy-duty tubular construction powder coated tank stands.
  • Polypropylene tanks and corrosive free fittings.

Air Pre-treatment: Scrubbing ambient air of nitrogen & hydrogen for greater adhesion to O3.
Ozone Generator: Corona discharge, 3.9 GPH @ 1%
Ozone Monitor: Electronic monitoring of O3 with auto shut down if ozone concentrations exceed federal health standards.
Ozone Venting: PVC venting to exterior w/inline induced fan.
Circulation Pump: Standard horizontal shaft centrifugal pump w/ S.S. housing.
Depth Filter: Garnet media
Process Rate: 6 GPM @ 20 PSI
Back Flush: Glass reinforced ball valve control back to pit or filtration media.
Temp. Range: Effluent rating from 40 to 80 degrees F.
Bacterial Control: Ozone with S.S. injector pump and venture injection
